Barbara Carol George

Barbara Carol George, age 70, a lifelong resident of Bristol, Va., passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at NHC HealthCare. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Barbara dedicated many years of her life to Bristol Compressors where she worked as long as her health prevailed. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Clifford Booher.  Barbara is survived by her dear mother, Shirley Hoss Booher, of Abingdon, Va., whose love and support she cherished throughout the years. She is also survived by her devoted son, Steve Booher, of Bristol, Va.; her loving daughter, Stephanie Ball, of Jonesborough, Tenn.; and two siblings: Gary Booher of Greensboro, N.C. and Melissa "Micki" Paul and husband, Gary, of Jonesborough, Tenn.  In this time of remembrance, we extend our deepest condolences to Barbara's niece, Amanda Miller.  Also left to cherish her memory are her four grandsons, Trevor George, Matthew Longnecker, Hunter Reynolds and Joseph Capps; and great grandson, Brayden George. 

The family has chosen not to hold formal services at this time; however, they appreciate all expressions of sympathy and love.
