Judy Kay Jasmin

Judy Kay Short Jasmin, age 63, formerly of North Augusta, S.C., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va.  She was born to the late Charles Short and Gertrude Ewart Short on February 4, 1961, in Mentor, Ohio.  She was employed in various capacities throughout her lifetime but spent the majority of her working years as a home health nurse. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Short.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin Jasmin and Joshua Jasmin, Sr. both of North Augusta, S.C.; daughter, Tanya Quarles and husband, Robbie, of Johnston, S.C.; six grandchildren, Laila Jasmin, Joshua Jasmin, Jr., Helton Jasmin, Nathan Quarles, Cade Quarles and Allie Quarles; niece, Rose Short and a nephew, Tony Short.   

Judy's legacy continues through the selfless act of tissue donation.  No formal services have been scheduled at this time.
