Phyllis Ann Helbert

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Phyllis Ann Helbert, age 59, of Bristol, Virginia, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center. Born in December 1965 to the late William Roby Helbert, Sr. and Betty Jane Blaylock Helbert in Bristol, Tenn., Phyllis was a beacon of light in the lives of those around her.

Phyllis was known for her unwavering dedication as a caregiver, lovingly tending to her parents and siblings through difficult times. Her compassion extended beyond her family; she was a fierce advocate for animals, embodying kindness and nurturing in every aspect of her life.  

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by the love of her life, William "Jamie" Davis, and her cherished siblings, Roger Blaylock, Ronnie Helbert, and Carolyn Renee Helbert.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tiffany Ann Dunnington and her husband, Chuck, of Abingdon, Va.; her 12 precious grandchildren, River, Autumn, Harlee, Matt, Mason, Kason, Braylen, Hudson, Jayda, Jaxson, Brianna, and Ethan; as well as her lifelong friend, Cynthia Vaughn.  She is also survived by Desirae Porter, Beth Brooks, Holly Dunnington, Bobby Dunnington, and Kristen Dunnington, who she thought of as her children.  Phyllis also leaves behind her devoted canine companion, Taz, who brought joy to her days.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family, where they will honor her memory and cherish the beautiful impact she had on many lives.
